How Does Honda AWD Work?

So, how does Honda AWD work? It’s really interesting, actually! Honda uses two different AWD systems, using one for some of its models and the other one for remaining AWD models:

• Intelligent Variable Torque Management (i-VMT4) AWD – This amazing system monitors all four wheels at once to calculate exactly how much torque each wheel needs. It then distributes that power to each of the wheels. Pretty cool, huh?
• Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System – This efficient AWD system continuously monitors the rear wheels with special sensors. If those sensors detect any loss in traction in the rear wheels, power is diverted to them.
