The 2019 Honda Fit is a fan favorite here at Gates Honda for its subcompact stature and unique nature.

While it’s not as roomy as the 2019 Honda CR-V or 2019 Honda Passport, the Honda Fit brings plenty to the table for drivers looking for efficiency.

Honda automakers want to keep this little car the fan favorite it is. That’s why the 2020 Honda Fit, which will debut at the Tokyo Auto Show later this fall, is getting all the treatments as it enters a new generation.

As part of the next-generation upgrade, the new Honda Fit is getting a bit of a redesigned look to the exterior. From the few photos we’ve seen, it appears that the upcoming model is going to be bolder and sportier looking, featuring a prominent front fascia.

While we have yet to get an authentic look at the interior, it seems like Honda automakers have done a lot of work to give drivers and passengers a more pleasant experience. The dashboard features a sleek horizontal two-toned appearance, vertical air vents, and a high-mount infotainment screen that elegantly rises out of the dash.

The new Honda Fit isn’t the automaker’s only project, however. It seems that Honda is ready to move into production on the Honda e, the final stage of an all-electric model we have only seen in prototypes, then called the Honda Urban EV.

It’s still uncertain when, or if, we’ll see the new Honda Fit hybrid model, but the Honda CR-V Hybrid model is available here in the Richmond, KY area.
