The 2022 Honda Civic is a compact sedan, although Honda plans to offer a hatchback body style later in the model year. The sedan is offered in four trim levels, which are LX, Sport, EX, and Touring. With the range-topping Touring trim, interior features include an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, and power front seats. It also has a premium Bose 12-speaker sound system, a 9-inch touch screen, integrated navigation, and wireless device charging.

Every 2022 Honda Civic comes with a suite of safety features, which includes forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, a driver attention monitor, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and a traffic sign reader.
