Due to the long straightaways on this asphalt trail, it is also ideal if you want to teach your kids how to ride a bike.
2. Fort Boonesborough Campground Loop Trail
We also recommend the 0.9-mile Fort Boonesborough Campground loop trail at Fort Boonesborough State Park at 4375 Boonesboro Rd. This fun, easy trail is great for birders, and you can take beautiful pictures of the fort, creek, and birds, including Carolina wrens. Other birds you can expect to see here include:
