The Civic has been a flagship model for Honda for decades. The 2023 Honda Civic at your Honda dealership has four trim levels to choose from. From the base LX trim to the top Touring, get to know the best features of the 2023 Civic. 

1. Engineering

The engine for the base model is a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder engine, which produces 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. This engine is also standard for the Sport trim. Both the EX and Touring models have a 1.5-liter intercooled, turbocharged DOHC VTEC four-cylinder engine, which generates 180 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. 
The LX trim has idle-stop, Eco Assist, a continuously variable transmission, and a drive-by-wire throttle system. The Sport and Touring trims have a CVT transmission with paddle shifters, remote engine start, and three driving modes. The EX also has remote engine start.

2. Safety

The standard Honda Sensing safety features for the LX include lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, driver attention monitor, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, and automatic high beam headlights. Additional Honda Sensing features for the Touring trim are a cross-traffic monitor, a blind spot information system, low-speed braking control, and front and rear parking sensors. 

3. Lights and Mirrors

The standard exterior lights for the LX trim are LED headlights, LED side marker lights, LED taillights, and LED brake lights. The Touring trim has LED fog lights and black-accented LED headlights with an automatic on-and-off feature. 
For the LX, the standard side mirrors are power-adjustable and body-colored. The Sport trim has Gloss Black power side mirrors, and the EX has heated body-colored side mirrors. The Touring trim has heated body-colored power-adjustable side mirrors with integrated LED turn signal indicators. 

4. Audio and Display

The LX has a seven-inch driver information touchscreen, a seven-inch color touchscreen, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Bluetooth streaming audio, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, and a four-speaker speaker system are also standard. These standard features extend through the Sport and EX trims. 
The Touring trim has a 10.2-inch driver information interface, a nine-inch color touchscreen, HD radio, SiriusXM, and wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Touring trim also has a premium 12-speaker Bose audio system with a subwoofer, a wireless phone charger, and the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation system, which has voice recognition and Honda RealTime traffic. 

5. Seats

The LX has a fold-down rear seat, a driver’s seat with manual height adjustment, and cloth seat material. The Sport trim has combination seats, while the EX has heated front seats and a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat. The Touring trim has leather-trimmed seats and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
