4. Gibson Bay Golf Facility
Gibson Bay is a public, 18-hole course. This one has fairways that are large enough to accommodate the game for most players but also offers challenging obstacles such as water hazards at several points throughout the round. There’s no rough to speak of here. It’s just pure greens waiting to be putted upon by people looking for something fun and relaxing after work or during summer weekends.
6. Connemara Golf Center
Connemara Golf Center is the oldest course in Kentucky and features an old-fashioned clubhouse. The front nine are shorter and more forgiving, while the back nine will challenge golfers with longer holes requiring precision shots to narrow fairways guarded by large bunkers. One interesting thing about this course is that you play around 100 different types of trees.
